Nacho fries...do we really need to say more? They're nachos made with fries instead of chips because fries are delicious. It's that simple!
These fries are quick, customizable, comforting, and they require virtually no prep if you opt for pre-made ingredients. We chose to use frozen fries, canned beans, and store-bought pico de gallo to make prep a breeze!
They make a perfect late meal after a night out with friends and work equally well as a meal for those nights where you want to stay home, graze a tray of comfort food, and up your useless fact game via Jeopardy reruns on Netflix.
The Process
Begin by cooking one 24oz bag of frozen fries according to package instructions. Any style of fry will work for this recipe, so choose your favorite! We decided to use Trader Joe's "Handsome Cut Potato Fries," and they worked great!
Once the fries are cooked, arrange them in the center of the baking sheet. Top the fries with shredded cheese, drained black beans, and Extra Hot Mini Sticks.
These fries are super versatile and easily customizable, so we encourage you to change any ingredients that don't sit well with you. For example, if you're more into a mild spice, we'd suggest swapping out the Extra Hot Mini Beef Sticks for our Sea Salt & Pepper Mini Beef Sticks!
Pop the fries back into the oven at 450ºF for 5 minutes, or until cheese has completely melted. We kept it simple and used a Mexican blend of shredded cheese, but you can use whatever you have on hand.
Top the fries with diced onion, jalapeno, avocado, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cilantro. Again, the toppings here are incredibly easy to swap out to suit your tastebuds!
Serve immediately and enjoy!
