    Pepperoni is a stretch.

    These tasted nothing like pepperoni. I am not sure what the flavor was. It was not a flavor that I will ever try again.

    This had a really funky taste to it, almost like an Italian sausage.

    Seasoning not right for me.

    So it didn't taste like pepperoni to me at all. There is a taste of cardamom (or cumin/coriander) in it, which I love in gingerbread cookies, but not in my pepperoni beef sticks. It is also not the least bit spicy, which I think the taste of pepperoni requires.

    Pepperoni beef sticks

    I received these as a free bag for my first order, and they had a interesting flavor to them, but not enough to where I could not eat them, but I will try a different flavor the next time.

    Perfect seasoning

    For shelf stable beef sticks, this is tastes better and has better texture than others. It’s a nice level of spice, but they are still a little greasier than I would have liked.
