Love this jerky mixed in with my salad & my other food. It’s very tasty; I love it by itself also. Has a lot of flavor. The amount that they give is quite a bit for the price! You must try this if you have never tried it. It’s delicious! Only problem is mine is empty! Have to restock.

Thick cuts of 100% American beef are seasoned with a rich medley of natural spices—black peppercorns, sea salt, and smoked paprika—then slow cooked for a minimum of five hours. Once dried, the thick-cut jerky is shredded to a fine & airy consistency.

I originally bought the Machaca to use in some recipes, because it absorbs liquid to make sauces thicker while adding a surprisingly subtle beef flavor -- doesn't overwhelm, complements nicely. But it's *so* tender and flavorful just by itself that I've wound up using it more as a topping to salads, omelettes, even creamy soups. I also sneak a few spoonfuls as a snack now and then!
