Pretty good, not too hot.
I like the dryness and difficulty to tear apart. I would not consider it hot at all, but does seem to be salty. It's good, I would buy it again.

Great jerky!
Finally! A jerky that's reminds me of my dad's jerky! He'd made jerky since the 70's, just for family, and store-bought stuff couldn't come close in taste or texture. I had quit buying most jerky and searching all the various ones online, I could either just see the pictures and think "nope" or read the ingredients and knew my dad wouldn't put that stuff in it (and probably couldn't even FIND some things!).
