This jerky was very ground up which is exactly what I was wanting as I have bought this to make pemican. I have not tasted it yet but I plan to when I start to make pemmican. I forgot to mention that the jerky chips that I bought had a lot of onion flavor more so than teriyaki but that's not a bad thing that was a good thing. Part of this is going to be hard to finish because I haven't tasted it yet and I'm not going to be able to answer some of the questions.

The flavor was there however it was dryer than expected like chewing dust. I was expecting it to be like the kind in the snuff container.
