Worth it

This is one of my favorite kinds of jerky PCBJ makes. I love how dry and tough it is, the amount in it lasts us weeks, and I love that there is NO sugar or additives, all basic ingredients you can pronounce.

Jerky lover's dream

The texture of the hot beef jerky is perfect, balanced with a very natural feel, with large cuts of meat and a sense that it comes from a craftsman-style process. Since initially trying it, I have enrolled in the subscription program. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of jerky, and the rewards program is a nice benefit. I encourage anyone who is looking for a sugar-less, natural, craftsman-style jerky produced by a family-owned business to give it a try.

Best of the flavors

Just the right amount of spicy without needing to call the Fire Dept! The dry texture is different than grocery store jerky, and it's a better choice for me. This is ideal hot spicy beef jerky!

Thick cuts of 100% American Beef are seasoned with a rich medley of natural spices—crushed red pepper, black peppercorns, sea salt, and smoked paprika (no sugar added)—then slow cooked for a minimum of five hours. The cowboy-style cuts of jerky enhance the rich meat flavor for a thick jerky with a great chew.

This is authentic jerky, handcrafted in an old time style. This is not a moist jerky, each thick piece has a chewy steak-like texture with an extra pop of heat from the crushed red pepper.

OG and OG spicy. Nashville hot and also Original hot spicy.

I’m probably being too critical

I really enjoy the taste of OF Hot & Spicy. I also appreciate how good it is while being sugar free and being ingredient clean. But some pieces are extremely hard to bite through while some are very soft. In addition the thickness and length of the pieces vary quite a bit. I’ve been buying this product for years and have recently became an automatic ship customer. So regardless of my criticisms I am still a firm believer in this product for the taste, protein, and clean ingredients.
