Benjamin Cunningham of Benjamin Bott began working with leather simply because he loves making things with his hands. Oh, and the wallets he bought kept falling apart. He figured he could find a better way.
So, through a process of trial and error, Benjamin taught himself how to hand stitch leather goods. He had no family secrets to fall back on, no trusted mentor to teach him the basics. Ben figured out the process, the tools and the materials through a mixture of experimentation, ingenuity and Internet research.
